Bucharest, April 27, 2022 – Chromosome Dynamics SA, a Romanian entrepreneurial high-tech company, will be listed on Thursday, May 5, 2022, on the AeRO segment of the BVB’s Multilateral Trading System, operated by the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company will trade under the ticker symbol CHRD.
Chromosome Dynamics, founded in 2020, is an innovative start-up whose main activity is the development of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions with a direct impact on the development of Romania’s agricultural sector. Two years after its establishment, Chromosome Dynamics reported revenue of RON 4.75 million as of December 31, 2021, and
based on the products it has developed or is currently developing, it estimates a 600% increase in revenue by 2023.

At present, the company’s most advanced project is Agrobazar, a digital platform that is revolutionizing the way advisory and buying-and-selling processes are currently carried out in the agricultural sector. Since its launch in 2021 to date, total sales through the platform have exceeded RON 2.5 million. Overall, the website www.agrobazar.ro has recorded more than one million unique visits.
“We set out for Agrobazar to be a one-stop shop for farmers in Romania, designed to cover the entire agri-food sector across 12 major categories. We provide agribusiness consulting services, agricultural machinery, and inputs—seeds, pesticides, fertilizers—as well as a wide range of products in the home & garden and pet & vet segments. With the launch of our mobile apps, available for download on Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS), we expect total sales through the platform to reach RON 8 million by the end of 2022. At the same time, we are working to finalize and then launch our other AI projects, which will showcase the full scope of Chromosome Dynamics,” said Mugurel Ionel.
Among the company’s shareholders are Bittnet Systems, as well as Agista, the first Romanian investment fund focused on the AeRO market, which accelerates local SMEs by providing capital, know-how, and supporting their listing on the capital market.

In the second half of 2021, Chromosome Dynamics carried out several funding rounds, including a private placement, through which it raised RON 3.4 million—funds used to develop the company’s investment projects. The financing was arranged by the brokerage firm Goldring, which also assisted the company in the process of listing on the AeRO segment of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
